Greenpeace Artefacts From The Future

greenpeace.jpg

This experience involves anyone who wants to engage picking up a piece of rubbish from the ground in their local area and writing a message on or in it that is from 2075.

These letters are addressed to the Prime Minister but sent to Greenpeace Headquarters.

These contain accounts of a dystopian future that has been destroyed by climate change, based in current facts.

These pieces of rubbish should be distressed to look like they have been in the environment for a long time. This highlights the problem of rubbish remaining in the environment and not decomposing.

Greenpeace will deliver the artefacts from the future by hand to 10 Downing Street every few days.

They will photograph and document every artefact from the future for social media and create a digital archive of the dystopian future that those involved have created.

This campaign will put pressure on Government to make environmental changes, help to clear up rubbish from the environment and raise awareness about problems to do with products being put into our environment.

Due to the return address included any MPs who receive these artefacts should reply to them.
