If you are reading this section then the immersive experience will have been broken for you however it is a part of the methodology so needs to be acknowledged.

 

I had tried to create this website as a strange fractured piece of theatre but it didn’t work and was incredibly confusing. It felt very disjointed and conflicted. By creating a fictional company that is generating the research for this dissertation I was able to simplify the structure and to follow a logical narrative.

 

I would have liked to have spent more time developing the aesthetic quality of IMMERSE 101’s digital presence, perhaps adding a twitter feed which engages with relevant industry professionals but I haven’t had the time to do this. It could have also been an interesting way of conducting research and gaining more knowledge but I had to discover the immersive principles before I could do this.
